| Welcome to the official Website of Peace on Earth Ministries, better known by its acronym POEM. This year we are celebrating our 15th year of ministry. We are so glad you dropped by to visit us. Perhaps the highest tribute anyone ever paid to POEM was Dr. Leroy Garrett, noted author and historian, who said, “I appreciate you both for your passion for Christian unity and your compassion for suffering humanity.” We do seek to honor our Lord's prayer for unity when He prayed, “That they all may be one…that the world may believe” (John 17:21). We publish a quarterly unity magazine One Body and help coordinate an annual unity meeting known as The Restoration Forum. POEM also partners with fellow ministries in Cuba, Belarus, India, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine in a variety of humanitarian and benevolent works, as well as making periodic teaching and preaching trips to these countries. We believe that working together is a practical expression of Christian unity. There's lots of good things on our Website - a daily Bible study, lectures I have given at Christian colleges and Bible conferences, a list of available books, information regarding our monthly newsletter (The Knowlesletter) and the aforementioned magazine One Body, et al.
