One of the most loved hymns of the Christian faith is “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Thomas O. Chisholm. In the third stanza we find these words: “Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!” Each weekday we hope to provide you with “Strength for Today.” It might be a passage of Scripture, a fragment of a hymn, or an inspirational quote.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” (Romans 12:12). Try this today. In the morning practice being joyful in hope. In the afternoon remember to be patient in affliction. In the evening be sure to be faithful in prayer. I think your day will go better.
